+ 81 :Streets of Japan (1)

I'm quite embarrassed to blog about my Tokyo trip which happened in July only now. (and which
my notes were deleted by accident in my phone so i pretty much forgotten where and what I did in details.)

I hope I can record this as accurately as possible lol .

So anyway, one day Xt & I had this thought that we should go somewhere as graduation trip and to celebrate the end of our 1 yr working experience (HAHA) . We decided on either Korea/ Japan. So once we checked tickets pricing online and our "then" budget , Japan was it. We just purchase the tickets right away (Didn't even tell our parents)! I love how spontaneous my gf is, we are so impromptu like that.

Her sister decided to join us too so i ended up travelling with a pair of sisters :)
7 days of Tokyo  adventure.
Damage : lots of cash and Tokyo fever lol.

[ Day 1-2 ]

We touched down in Haneda airport at night so we booked a hotel which is 20-30 mins away from the airport.

cute train ticket ^^

Japan train is like a ghost train. hahaha, phone has to be on silent mode and no photography/ talking.
So we reached our destination but heaven decided to rain on our parade. We were lost and it was literally raining veryyyyy heavily. WE HAD TO DRAG OUR LUGGAGESSSSS TO AND FRO because we couldn't find our hotel.

Plus we didn't get dinner!!!!!! A family mart..

Luckily, we plucked up the courage to approach a group of hipsters (??!!!) youths and they were the most helpful people around, they check directions for us and even accompanied us to our hotel. #Thankful #Arigatougozaimasu

========================================================================
Checked out the next day and lugged our luggage to the nearest metro to start the tedious journey to our hotel at shinjuku (I want to cry cos it's about 45 mins ride and the heavy luggages are really no joke, bitch )
Cannot afford cab because starting fare is already $11sgd.

But everything is worth it, no regrets!!!!

touch-screen vending machine is so cool.
Happy faces once we found our hotel (which is much more easy to locate)

Once all the check in is settled, we had to explore the street for some food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It so amazing that all orders are processed by a ticket booth. You pay and you choose your desired set
and pass the ticket to the cook /assistant/waiter and then wait for food to be served.

Price starts from $6+/ 7 sgd (cheapest set meal that we found ) and above....
Ugh hate that i forgot the name of this eatery because its so common that there's more than 1 outlet in a area and the food is really yummy !

I realised that Japanese are so independent they're often seen alone during meals. hmmmmm... If I had to eat alone in +65 , i confirm request to take away. LOL!!
you grind your own sauce/ topping

Went shopping and explored Muji and H&M. The prices at H&M are considered steep compared to HK/SG... Actually as long as its shopping, it does not come with a cheap price tag most of the time thus im so curious about the salary of japanese lol.

SO IN LOVE WITH THE MUJI ICE CREAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

Saw this at departmental store and secretly took some pictures as no photography is allowed. -__-
I think it's  at takashimaya ??? Their presentation is so awesome, everything turn out to be pretty and yummy looking.

Talk about the art of seduction....

Japan has this kind of long looking bus that plays loud music all the time and has advertisement on the sides.
Interesting to know.
I can't even begin on the regular drugstore that's almost at every corner!!! But their prices differ  at diff place ZZZZZ!!!pffft.
I LOVE THE PLACE SO MUCH, I THOUGHT IM NEVER GONNA LEAVE.
lol.
This is just a small section of the store... I want to bring everything home *.*   *.*    *.*
Time flies when you're having fun, found this eatery around our hotel and damn, no surprise food is superb.
my jie jie mei mei so pretty~

After dinner, we also check out their lawson supermarket  ( it's like 7-11, i suppose?)
Just across the street , F21 caught my eyes, I just had to and Topshop, Zara, Bershka Sasa, Lush were also in the vicinity.  OH! & the 100yen shop!!! :))))
XT's fav band.
 Our hotel.

Shinjuku itself is so big and Im amazed by what they have, so happening and lively.
Felt like Im Alice in wonderland.
